London 4aWI
On Sunday 12th May 2019 the 4aWI started their journey to London. On Monday they went on a walking tour through London in order to see the main sights, such as Houses of Parliament and Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square with Nelson’s Column, Little Italy and Chinatown. After strolling along Oxford Street, debating in Speaker’s Corner and relaxing in Hyde Park, they had dinner in the Hard Rock Café London.
On the second day they went to the Tower of London and marvelled at the Crown Jewels. Afterwards they saw the Tower Bridge, HMS Belfast, Shakespeare Globe Theatre, St Paul’s Cathedral and Millennium Bridge. They went into Tate Modern, where they were inspired by both, the splendid view from the top as well as the pieces of modern art.
On Wednesday, they made a scary tour through the London Dungeon and went to Portobello Road Market, an inspiring flea market. In the evening they were watching Detective Pikachu in the Odeon cinema at Tottenham Court Road.
On the last day they went to the Science Museum before taking the flight back home.
