English Language Contest 2019

Congratulations to our finalists of the English Language Contest 2019

On 27 February, Katharina Maier (4aCB) and Güven Eryilmaz (4aCT) both took part in the annual English Language Contest for BHS at the WIFI. Due to excellent performances in the first two rounds, including a lively discussion about winter tourism and its effects on Vorarlberg, they won through to the finals.

The final round was all about convincing the jury, consisting of three native speakers from the UK and the US, of an innovative and sustainable product or service the contestants would like to launch. In the end, Katharina and Güven were ranked top 5 among a very strong field of 20 competitors.
