3aCI organisiert Chemiemesse

Die 3aCI hat mit Julia Schratz, Hans-Thomas Schacht und Julia Mathis eine abteilungsübergreifende "Chemistry Fair" veranstaltet, bei welcher Schüler:innen aus der Mode, Chemie, und Betriebsinformatik auf Englisch über Umweltthemen informiert wurden.

Das Thema war “The Environmental Impacts of the Fashion Industry – Chemical Alternatives to Make it More Sustainable: Benefits and Limitations“.

Folgende Unterthemen wurden vorgestellt:

• Greenwashing
• Sustainability of Cotton
• Cellulose Production from Wood
• Textile Dyes from Bacterial Biomass
• Ecological Garment and Jeans Finishing / Bleaching
• Cellulose Acetate: A Bio-Based (but Not Biodegradable) Polymer
• The Lyocell Process
